IPL Treatments

How it Works

IPL (intense pulsed light) uses high-energy light pulses to target unwanted pigment and redness in the skin. The Viora V-IPL handpiece delivers controlled light to brown spots, sun damage, visible vessels, and redness while helping improve overall tone and clarity.

Specific wavelengths are filtered to seek out pigment and hemoglobin under the surface. That energy is converted to heat, breaking up discoloration and collapsing tiny vessels so the body can naturally clear them away over time.

V-IPL technology is designed for customizable treatments across a wide range of skin types and concerns, including sun damage, hyperpigmentation, redness, and some acne-related discoloration, with minimal downtime.

What to expect

Most IPL treatments take about 20–30 minutes, depending on the area treated. You may feel a brief “snap” and warmth with each pulse. Your skin can appear slightly pink or warm afterward, similar to a mild sunburn, and brown spots often darken before flaking or fading over 1–2 weeks.

A series of sessions is usually recommended for best results, followed by maintenance visits as needed. There is typically little to no downtime, but you’ll need to avoid direct sun, wear sunscreen, and follow post-care instructions to protect your results.
